We regularly collaborate in the design, development and testing of new products and mould tooling for prototyping and production.

Tool design

Saving you time, money and hassle.

If you include us from early in the design process, we can advise on the most cost-effective and feasible designs for production, using both our materials and our tooling knowledge.

Some customers choose to use a design house, and we are happy to work with them; there is always the danger, if it is not run as a collaborative project, that you will spend money on the product design but end up with something which is difficult (and therefore expensive) to design a tool for or to manufacture. Get us involved as early as possible – invariably, this will save money overall.

What are the different types of rubber?

For CAD work we accept all file types and use Solidworks on site.

On site we have 3 axis large CNC milling machines, 5 axis medium CNC milling, 2 axis CNC turning up to 1m in diameter. However, we have close relationships with toolmakers nationally so that we can be flexible in making a tool to suit the moulding press and product design.
